What counts as a hackathon submission?

A hackathon submission is a solution you create to a problem that you observe within a particular Track. Your solution can be anything from a prototype of an idea, to an app, to a game.

⚠️ You may only submit one project for one track, regardless if you are working individually or as a team.

Both high school and college students are welcome to compete. Only high-schoolers can compete in the High School Innovation track. However, high-schoolers are allowed to be part of a college team or can choose too participate in the other non-high school Tracks where they will be judged on the same level as college students.

What do I submit?

A submission consists of 3 items:

  1. A roughly 3-minute video showcasing your project
  2. GitHub repo with your code
  3. Completed submission form on Devpost

Each item is explained in detail below.

Things to Consider For Your Video

Your video should aim to explain what issue within your Track you are trying to solve and how your project is a viable solution to that issue. Be sure to highlight the uniqueness and creativity of your project.
